Toyota airs their new commercial, the "WOW" Vision Movie. "Toyota aims to wow the hearts of people worldwide. Something that will reach out and move everyone regardless of language, race, history, or circumstances. Something considered from every conceivable angle, using every method possible. A 'wow' is this sort of thing that moves people's hearts. It also the motive power for creating new paths. This is what we believe. 2020 will be the starting point of the wonderful future that lies ahead of us. What wows you?" Mikiya Takimoto filmed the vision movie that opens Toyota's mission statement. The film traces the path of human history, following people as they walk out onto a road with closeups of feet set upon the path from the pioneer days to modern times. The filming took place in Iceland, which at the time was still faced with snow and severe weather. All of Takimoto's intense ideas were condensed into a 120-second clip.
