VISION is the theme of the 8th edition of this international photography festival, held against the backdrop of Kyoto, one of the world’s leading culture capitals. As well as a photography exhibition in a temple, a first attempt for him, there will be film works and an installation on display, taking advantage of an exhibition space. The venue for the exhibition is the Daishoin (Great Study Hall) at Kyoto’s Myoman-ji Temple. This exhibition takes as its starting point the beautiful appearance of the Snow Garden in the dry landscape garden at Myoman-ji Temple, renowned since the Edo period, showing works on the theme of snow in the space provided in the Daishoin. It features one of his leading series, LAND SPACE, which comprises images of primordial earth (LAND) standing face to face with images that symbolize cutting edge civilization (SPACE) and will feature works never shown before.
