A joint exhibition by KIMURA Kohsuke, myself, and FUJII Tamotsu, we ask the question, “Is it possible to see time?” Fujii and I, the two photographers, are both exhibiting video installations — the “artificial & static” nature of Fujii’s work providing a sharp contrast with the “nature & motion” of my own. Kimura, a contemporary artist, has used photographs to create works where space and time intersect. Perhaps our interpretation of time will spark the imagination of viewers. 幾千ものシュート篇 13歳でバスケットボールを始めて以来、「アメリカのプロリーグで活躍する」と信じ続けてきた八村塁選手の姿にフォーカスしています。様々な苦難を乗り越えてきた彼の姿をアーカイブ映像で振り返るとともに、少年時代と現在の八村塁選手がクロスすることによって信じることの素晴らしさを表現した構成になっています。新CMをどうぞご覧ください。This episode focuses on Rui Hachimura, a basketball player who has always believed that one day he would be playing in the U.S. professional league since he first began playing basketball at age 13.
This commercial revisits archived footage of Hachimura, who has overcome a variety of hardships, and brings his present-day self together with his childhood self in a structure designed to express what a wonderful thing it is to believe. I hope you enjoy this new commercial.
東京都現代美術館で開催されています皆川明さんの「ミナ ペルホネン／皆川明 つづく」展覧会公式カタログの撮影に参加。装丁は葛西薫さんです。瀧本幹也は会場写真を担当させていただきました。I participated in photographing the official catalog for “minä perhonen / minagawa akira TSUZUKU,” Akira Minagawa’s exhibition being held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Kaoru Kasai designed the catalog, and I was entrusted with the task of photographing the venue.
ラフォーレミュージアム原宿にて開催されます、アートディレクター矢後直規展「婆娑羅」のメインビジュアルを撮影しました。絵画的な質感にするため、矢後さんが実際にペイントした画を撮影しそれを大きなキャンバスに引き伸ばして背景を製作しました。八木莉可子さんとお皿とのパースを絵画的に2次元空間にするように机に傾斜をつけるなどの工夫をして撮影しました。矢後直規展「婆娑羅」ラフォーレミュージアム原宿 2020年2月22日（土）～3月8日（日）スタイリスト伊藤佐智子さんThe key visual for art director Naonori Yago’s “BaSara” exhibition to be held at Laforet Museum in Harajuku was one of my recent works. To create the texture of a painting, I photographed a painting by Yago himself, then stretched it over a large canvas to make a backdrop. I also used a variety of other devices including tilting the table to create a painting-like two-dimensional perspective of Rikako Yagi and the plate.
