The Suntory Tennensui Mezameru (“Wake Up”) commercial has been released. We had to shoot in the harsh conditions of the Northern Alps and the weather at the time of the shoot was a factor, but we were able to capture some moments of peace and relaxation with Shizuka Ishibashi's free and easy dancing, which connects with the sky in the background, and the interaction with the comical Tasuku Emoto. Along with the water mountain, Shizuka Ishibashi's sparkling smile will be showing on signage at Shinagawa Station. Please take a look.
I directed photography for the main poster visual for NHK’s historical drama TV series in 2021, Seiten wo Tsuke (Reach Beyond the Blue Sky). Actor Ryo Yoshizawa plays the lead role, Eiichi Shibusawa. With the words "I cannot submit to a world where ordinary people are treated as inferior to officialdom!” Shibusawa declared rebellion against the oppressive class system. He made and promoted private sector reforms in taxation, railroads, and monetary systems. We shot the photos on locations connected to Eiichi Shibusawa, dubbed the Father of Capitalism in Japan.
The McDonald’s Kazoku to Issho-ni (“Together with the Family”) Why I’m Here commercial. The products relating to life episodes that siblings, parents, and even grandparents share over a long time spark conversations, the commercial portraying moments that bring smiles to their faces. Maybe scenes that recreate the streets of the past can be situations that give viewers a sense of nostalgia while at the same time giving younger people a sense of freshness. Please take a look.
